The Storm
Although i could barely keep standing because of the storm, my camera managed to capture this view.
Long time no see!
It was a long time ago, that I posted some work online. Much stuff has happened, but I won’t bother you with that. Here’s a try after a long long time.
Return of the cold nose photographer™
Hello All, it’s been a while. I’ve not disapeared, but have done little with photography the recent months. Now that the temperature lowers, it’s time to go out again, to get a cold nose

After a while
After a long while, one needs to do some old habits again. Like uploading a photo:
Nightwatch
It’s been weeks ago, that I did some photography. Here’s the result, something completely different.
Return of the cold nose photographer™
Today was a really nice day, after some nice freezing and foggy nights. I went early to the Schoorlse Duinen, to catch the sunrise. Since it was freezing, most people stayed home the early part of the morning. It was lovely to drink some coffee while enjoying the endless silence. I’m pretty happy with my folding bike too, now my radius has greatly expanded, and scouting new subjects is far more simpler now.
Cold nose photography™
It’s been ages, although it feels like that. The same olde spot, nothing special. I should scout for new spots for 2008..
Run forrest, Run!
Today I tried staying close to home, but the musquitos were killing! They basically went all for my bald head, so this was one of the few pictures taken. I’ll be back loaded with deet and a cap!
Zelfbeeld.
Jummy, that was an great sunset this evening. Tried some funny new things today.
Freshly baked Apple pie
Today we had an trip with the NFO members, for our annual autumn trip. We were really lucky with the weather conditions, since it was raining all of the week. We were shooting in an old forest named Spanderswoud. It was basically close-up and macrowork, that I brought home.
Closer…
Just some fiddling with my new toy lens, getting closer and closer.
Early one morning.
Early rise, and hoped for ground-mist. Although it had everything to become a nice morning, some thick cloud on the horizon spoiled it all. Found this underway:

At the beach
Today had a few nice moments, with pretty clear skies. I visited the beach, and found the following pictures:
Fusion
Hoped for the magic skies to apear, but it did not turn out as I wanted. Oh well, got an fresh nose and wet feet, so who cares
Scouting for new places.
Scouting for new places this early morning, nothing special.., nothing special at all. I went early to catch the morning sky, but the place I planned to photograph was not accessible, so I visited the Afsluitdijk, this spot could be nice with a more dramatic sky, or in the wintertime with some ice.
Just some sand.
Nothing special for a few days in a row. Just an evening walk along the beach, while it was as busy as an ants-hill.

Without any color.
Browsing trough some older stuff, and experimenting with Photoshop CS3. Nothing special on an nothing special weekend.
Before the storm came.
Before the storm, there is calm weather. And indeed it was like that this evening, calm and warm. Went to my favorite spot in the Schoorlse Duinen, to enjoy the surroundings.
250% silence
It was just amazing, no wind, no people! There were only the birds, and the intense smell of the moor. All not far from where I live, but today it seemed like a foreign country. I stayed late, till the sun was long gone…
Call me coastal boy…
This evening I went again, to a favorite spot along the dutch coast. It seems I can’t get enough of long exposure shots, with water and sky in them. Here some for your enjoment.
Prince George retry
I went for an retry on the Prince George on 25-05-2007 with Olaf, but somehow the weather-gods were not with us. The evening started with an nice clear sky, but around 20:00 it was quite cloudy already. Around 21:00 the sky was filled with thick, grey clouds. We stayed for a chat, and agreed that we’ll get our change this year.
First post.
After not posting anything lately, I reopened my photoblog here, since I feel the urge to fill it again often.
This picture was taken 13-04-2007, along the shore of the Hondsbossche Zeewering, near the wreck of the long gone Prince George. The Prince George was in tow to a German salvage company, when she ran aground 24th december 1921. The wreck is a nice subject with the sky colored red while the sun is long gone. I should return here soon, to give this an other try, maybe with some more clouds in the sky, to have an other effect.
